I did not have a plan for this week's Challenge at Persimon Dreams Blog. I thought about it for a while and decided to sew this Nine Patch Tote Charise Creates. I have had this tote pattern for quite a long time, but have not sewn it. Totes are so useful. I do believe the front resembles an Irish Chain.

Toting around An Irish Chain.
For the back I chose this cute animals in the forest print.
And, of course, I had to add a "Happiness is Homemade" label.
Now I have a cute and fun tote bag for my excursions. Thanks to Kim and Trish for all of these challenges this year. I am happy to say that I have completed all of the challenges this year.

Wicked Witch of the West Hat
My "clothing" sewing is slim to none. I have sewn aprons for a Halloween costume and I do enjoy wearing them to pass out treats. I had purchased this witch hat pattern a while back so I decided that I would sew the hat for This week's wearables challenge.
I used scraps from my previous Halloween aprons to piece the top. For the brim, I was able to use a fat quarter for the lining and I had just enough left-over scary cat fabric for the top. I did piece and quilt the top of hat. The brim is quilted, also.
I am happy with how my witch hat came out. I will be looking forward to wearing it to pass out treats at Halloween.
Posting my completed Witch Hat to Project Quilting #5 for 2024
