My 2026 Unfinished Quilt Project Challenge

Well, it has been ages since I posted on my Blog. But I decided to post my uncompleted project list for 2026.  Connie Kresin is having a challenge so I figured why not challenge myself to Finish some projects instead of starting new ones which I do quite frequently.

First up is my Swallows quilt top that I finished maybe about a year ago. I did start working on getting this quilted in January. Not sure if I will have it quilted and bound by the end of the month but I am going to try.

Another quilt top that has been neglected in my cedar chest is this Diamond Divide quilt top. This was a Sew Sampler project from 2019 so I would say that I have had the quilt top completed since 2020-2021. I loved it when it came and ordered the paper pieces and worked on it right away. But it has sat and not been quilted for going on 5 years now. I hope to have this completed as a gift for my Brother and Sister-in-law.

This is the Ultimate Sewing Case. It has only been partially completed since the Fall. So one month I would like to work on it to finish it.
This quilt top is Shine by Sweetwater. I've only had this top completed a month or so. So not too bad for me.

This Pam Kitty Morning quilt top has been collecting dust for well on up to 10 years. It really is not even very big so why it has not been quilted is beyond me. It would make a cute table cover when I'm done.

This is part of Make Mine Mini membership - Potted Plants. I just love this and would like to get it quilted and bound. It's small so I'm sure I can get this organized.

A Sew Sampler box called Spring Flags.  I've had this top done for about a year.

My Gingerbread Man is from Make Mine Mini,  also. I would like to add him to a bag or basket or something. That is yet to be figured out.

This is my completed "Goodness Grows" monthly Quilt along from Sew Sampler. I really do need to complete this one.

I am not pleased with this Tula Pink quilt top so it sat forever. It did not fit together nicely in the center. So I will try to just do some extra quilting in the center at first. Not sure what else I can do to help it. Yikes!

These little guys are from Make Mine Mini, too, and I would like to add them to a bag or basket, also.

I'm going to add this quilt top, too because I would love to have it finished. This is the Potting Table Block of the Month by Rachael Rossi. It was a 2023 Block of the Month and I did enjoy participating.  It needs quilted and bound.

I do have a few more quilt tops needing quilting but I can only get so many projects together. This list leaves me with 8 quilt tops needing completed - that may be doable for me this year. My main problem is sewing the back together and basting the quilt sandwich to start my quilting. I am very lackadaisical (I looked the spelling up on dictionary.com) about doing that.
