Oregano Wall Hanging

Finished this cute wall hanging for my Q2 FAL. Here is the original post Oregano Wall hanging Q2 FAL #6 This is oregano.

I love herbs and I purchased this quite a few years back when it was on clearance. I bought basil, too, but haven't started it yet. I would like to hang them both together so I haven't hung this yet on my wall.
I'm not really too fond of this technique - fusible applique. The pieces for the kit were all laser-cut. And then I had to fuse them onto the background fabric. I did quilt all of the pieces, but you can't really see by this photo. Linking to Q2 FAL at Clover and Violet

Pittsburgh Pirates Bag

Presenting my Pittsburgh Pirates bag. I completed this to use during the Summer. I go boating and camping and it's good to just toss items in that I will need.

The lining is baseball fabric.

This is a pattern from Sara Lawson's book Windy City Bags. This is the 2nd bag I have made from this book. Finished this for my 2nd quarter Finish along. Original post is here: Pirates Bag Q2 FAL #3 Linking to 2016 Q2 FAL at Clover and Violet

Aurifil Designer Block of the Month - Cups and Saucers

This is my version of Aurifil block "Cups and Saucers". I think it turned out cute. I have been using 30's-type fabric for my blocks. Although, I've only completed 3 so far. I'm entering this on Pat Sloan's Aurifil designer block by Amy Friend. Maybe I'll go back and sew the ones I missed when I have time.

June OMG

Again, I didn't finish my May OMG in time to post my finish. So, with good intentions, this is my June One Monthly Goal. To quilt and bind this quilt top for my Aunt Mary. I'm not sure when I will give it to her, but, at least I'm trying to finish it in June.

The top is finished, but I'll just wait until I complete the quilting and binding to post a picture. I think it's a nice throw size quilt to just get warmed up with on the couch.
