The next round of the SAHRR has been chosen as Half-Square Triangles at Anja Quilts. I decided to sew a border around my center block. I liked the look of this framing of the block that Kathleen McMusing showed on her blog.
I decided on yellow for the border. Not sure how I like this so far, but we'll see as I add other parts according to the prompts.
I did not do anything yet with the previous week's block. This block was called "Sunshine" for my initial. It was similar to King's Crown.
What a great idea to frame your block with HSTs.
ReplyDeleteThank you , Denice! I'm trying to figure something out now for the stars.
DeleteWhat a cool layout with the HSTs, and your King's Crown block is lovely!
ReplyDeleteThank you Wendy! We'll see how this quilt top turns out. I'm learning as I go, which is a good thing.
