Sewing a Basket

I have always wanted to sew a "Basket" from this book by Noodlehead. 

So I decided to sew it for the Bigger than a Breadbox Challenge for Project Quilting. I am very pleased with how it came out.

 Here it is with a loaf of bread and package of buns. So it is bigger than a breadbox. There is still quite a bit of room for other loaves of bread.

Of course, I will not be using it to store my bread. But I am anxious to use it for other items. This is the first time that I have participated in Project Quilting and I am glad that I was able to complete this project in less than a week.
